Associate Life and Annuity Marketing SpecialistUS-MI-LansingJob ID: 2024-4593Type: Regular Full-Time# of Openings: 1Category: MarketingFarm Bureau CenterOverviewAssociate Life and Annuity Marketing Specialist ObjectiveTo help organize, plan and manage the development, implementation and maintenance of Farm Bureau life and annuity marketing materials and training; necessary to support a professional multi-line field force to include sales. To serve as the subject matter expert for prior and current life and annuity products and maintain an understanding of tax law and implications on Farm Bureau life and annuity products; to properly advise agents and staff on suitable and non-suitable life sales. To demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the life illustrations and application systems through testing, sales support, and tier 2/3 technical support. To be responsible for the quality of software and systems that are developed both internally and by third party vendors. To serve on corporate initiatives as the marketing life and annuity product and systems subject matter expert; including testing and test coordination, procedures and training.ResponsibilitiesAssociate Life and Annuity Marketing Specialist Responsibilities Participate as a Marketing Division representative on key corporate life insurance and annuity initiatives as a product and systems subject matter expert. Represent both Home Office and Field Force marketing interests on assigned corporate projects. Assist Life Operations in advanced product servicing, product development, product and policyholder service enhancements, and product pricing efforts. Be proactive in assisting the Field Force on conservation of existing life and annuity business with Farm Bureau Insurance. Provide sales support to all agents and Advanced Planning Specialists through creating and assisting in illustration and reprojections of life policies. Provide tier 2 and 3 production support for life solutions, which includes illustrations, reprojections, e-applications, automated underwriting, and electronic delivery of life policies. Generate sales leads and opportunities through CAPSIL queries, FB Cares, and Salesforce searches.QualificationsAssociate Life and Annuity Marketing Specialist Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in marketing, insurance, business, or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered. Experience with life insurance and annuities sales, sales concepts, and product understanding required. Strong computer skills and understanding of software development and quality assurance principals required. Knowledge of various approaches to the marketing, sales, and distribution of life insurance and annuities required. Active State of Michigan insurance license in Life required, or must be obtained within 90 days of employment. PreferredStrong project methodology, project management, business analysis, and testing is preferred. Designation(s) in CLU, ChFC, FLMI or LIC preferred.
