Base Pay Range: $132,800.00 - $225,800.00Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLAKLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits identified below. There is never a dull moment with us.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsKLA is seeking a motivated P rincipal AI A rchitect in our algorithm group at the AI & Modeling Center of Excellence in Ann Arbor, MI, USA. Join our team to create a strategic vision to transform the semiconductor industry , and work together on some of the most challenging engineering problems! In this position, you will bring your strong academic background and proven industry experience to develop a comprehensive strategy for Artificial Intelligence and pursue differentiation opportunities for innovative industrial analytics . You will provide technical domain expertise , mentorship, and visionary leadership in a highly collaborative team to research, develop, and deliver production-grade systems involving Deep Learning . In this role, you will:

• Lead the strategy for designing architectures for Artificial Intelligence systems , including specifying system and sub-system requirements .
• Create and d rive differentiation opportunities to improve industrial data analytics with deep learning.
• C ollaborate with research and engineering teams to integrate the optimal solutions Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in an industry environment architecting production-scale Machine Learning systems
  • Proven experience developing business solution s for AI
  • Experience designing systems using cloud-based high-performance computing infrastructure ( e.g., AWS, Azure, Google) for Deep Learning workloads is preferred
  • Great teammate with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hybrid Work:
    • This position allows flexibility and may require at least 3 days a week at the office. Minimum Qualifications
      • PhD in Applied Math, EE, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field preferred with 8 years of work experience OR
