  • Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg.
  • Position / Specialty: Ren 7 Acute- PCU.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36.
  • Ratios: 1:4 all shifts.
  • Years of experience REQ: 2 years.
  • First-timers accepted: Yes.
  • Weekend REQ: Every other, Nightshift weekends are Friday and Saturday. Dayshift weekends are Saturday and Sunday.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule: No.
  • Locals accepted: No local travelers 50 miles or less.

  • RTO Restrictions: Greater than 3 days will require Management approval.
  • Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics.

  • - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias.

  • - Medications: Heparin Protocols - preferred.
  • - Respiratory/Thoracic: Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management.
  • - Computerized Charting: EPIC - preferred.
    • Job Requirements
    • Registered Nurse qualification required.
    • 2 years of experience minimum.
    • First-timers are accepted.
    • Must be willing to float within service line.
    • Floating between several facilities as needed.
    • FLLOAT UNITS: Neuro/Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation.
    • Nightshift weekends are Friday and Saturday.
    • Dayshift weekends are Saturday and Sunday.
