Job Description:

• Certification Details
• Education needs to be validated at the source level in accordance with applicable governing laws.
• Ascension Skills Checklist required annually in specialty.
• Ascension Specialty Exam must be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
  • Job Details
  • 2yrs required experience in specialty areas.
  • BLS required, ACLS PREFFERED.
  • This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time.
  • Will need basic dysrhythmia testing competency.
    • Job Requirements
    • Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer.
    • If Negative titer, must have booster vaccine.
    • Documentation of vaccination series completion OR documentation of declination to vaccine.
    • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within 90 days of offered start date lab printout prior to start.
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Ascension Unit Specific Checklist is optional for Onboarding but needs to be uploaded by our Ascension unit leader within a week.
        • Additional Details
        • Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.
        • Fit Test required for all disciplines, Annual.
        • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
        • Exemptions are NOT accepted for persons working in the following areas: Potential contact with pediatrics/infants, mon-immune pregnant women (L&D areas), non-immune immunosuppressed patients (oncology, transplant, etc.).
