Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Assistant responsible for
supporting the efficiency of prescribing services and providing
ongoing member support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist medical providers by reviewing and responding to chat
messages
Triage messages and manage escalations related to medical
inquiries
Complete prior authorization forms and manage the exception process
for restricted drugs
Required Qualifications and Training:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
preferred
Experience in a medical office, clinic, or telehealth setting is a
plus
Knowledge of utilization management policies and procedures
Able to work within specified business hours
Proficiency in using telehealth technology
