Modis has an exciting opportunity for a top-notch IT professional – a Instructional Designer job located in Dearborn, MI 48126
 
Job Description:  
Design and develop web-based learning solutions for internal customers. Interface with Project Managers, Instructional Systems Designers, Graphics Designers, and Developers to create instructionally sound, SCORM compliant web-based training courses on time and on budget. Responsibilities include: perform needs analysis for training interventions, design and develop training and training evaluations, work with subject matter experts and internal customers, ensure training meets accepted standards for adult learners.
 
Skills Required:  
• Typical instructional design skills as identified in the ISD Model (needs assessment, design, development, evaluation)
• Strong skills with MS Windows, MS Office, Sharepoint, Webex
• Strong skills with Camtasia, Captivate, Articulate, and Lectora
• Adobe graphic applications
• Effective communications skills
• Team orientation
• Strong customer relation skills  
• Able to facilitate meeting both in person and virtually
• Able to multitask and work independently with minimal guidance
• Able to design and develop web-based course and meet project constraints
 
Experience Preferred:  
• Experience with SABA, SCORM compliant shells, HTML
• Project management skills
• 5 years of experience in a corporate training environment
• Must supply samples of work during interview
 
Education Required:  
Bachelor Degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Technology
