Job Description

Under the supervision of experienced professionals, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams using state-of-the-art imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  
• Interview patients to obtain medical histories, assess risk factors, and explain procedures, including potential side effects and benefits.
  
• Set up equipment, acquire images, and review results to ensure accuracy and quality.
  
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies, providing appropriate care and communication to patients and colleagues.
  
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
  
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  
• Provide education and training to residents, student technologists, and new employees on imaging procedures and best practices.
  
  
  Qualifications:
  • Registration by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARMDS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S).
    
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training within the designated timeframe.
    
  • Registration in a specialty within 12 months of employment.
