Job Description:
Centralized Sterile Technician coordinates surgical instrument
and supply oversight between OR and Central Sterile Processing to
ensure availability and efficient case flow. Responsibilities
include assisting with special projects, promoting customer
service, and performing duties in accordance with hospital
policies. Key duties include preparing OR suites for surgery,
transporting sterile instruments, monitoring case flow, and
assisting with instrument turnarounds. The ideal candidate will
have 3 years of sterile processing experience, a high school
diploma or equivalent, and a certified sterile processing
technician certification. They will also possess strong
interpersonal skills, knowledge of surgical instruments, and the
ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
